Reflecting on this, I feel incredibly fortunate to spend an hour each week with an amazing group of young volunteers at Grateful Acres. Our time together is filled with meaningful activities where we work diligently on various tasks, engage in heartfelt conversations, and always ensure there's time for fun and laughter. This weekly interaction not only allows me to witness their growth and potential but also reinforces the profound impact that a caring adult can have in shaping their journey towards success.
How lucky am I to be part of their lives, even if just for a short time each week, and to contribute to their bright futures as they volunteer and make a difference in our community.
